Monday
When I thought about this verse, I pictured the crazy quilt. Each quilt piece represents a "good work" which we've done in our lives. Some are plain and seem insignificant, while others are fancy and stand out. But all of them, when stitched together, form a beautiful life that God has blessed us with and planned out each piece before the beginning of time.

Sunday
This is the first one I've done where I used some symbolism. As I started the drawing, I thought, "What would the grace of God look like. I decided on the light green swirls because God's grace swirls through our lives in a gentle way, never demanding, but there for us when we choose to accept it. Then I needed something to represent people and I chose the green circles. Without his grace we are alone and weak, but His grace gives us unity as believers in Christ and power to walk in Him. Lastly I needed something to represent the power of God and chose the yellow glow around the green circles which radiates from us because of His grace in our lives.

The Beginning
A few days ago I started an art journal for drawing a Bible Verse each day during my morning quiet time. It's a fun way to memorize scripture and meditate on it as I am drawing around the verse. I have 3 days worth of drawings already, so they will be included in this post.
